| 4 | Atypical facial pain | Tiredness - mostly overcome with time. | Now trying to withdraw from several years of taking 25 mg/day and the withdrawal symptoms are hard to live with. GI disturbances, gas, chronic gut noises, headache, restlessness. Today, 6 weeks after discontinuing the Pamelor, my vision has improved compared to being on the drug, but is still blurry and according to the eye doc has not improved to what it was before starting the drug. It was most effective for the first few years. Gabapentin and alprazolam helped mitigate the anxiety. I stopped taking it over a year ago- It had outlived its usefulness. I mistakenly thought it contributed to a urinary problem (most likely was a separate- age related issue) However, the drying effects of this drug can mess with your digestive and urinary system.
