I started with the generic of this Junel fe and everythings fantastic. I was switched back and forth from pill to pill--Ortho Tricyclin (I had extreme moodiness & weight gain), Ortho Novum (I had severe headaches & low sex drive), Desogen (I had a lower sex drive), Alesse (Moodiness & severe headaches)... I started having SEVERE headaches with Ortho Novum and Alesse, and just got so tired of putting up with them that I ended up just buying the Loestrin 1.5/30. I used to get the headaches/migraines almost every single day, and haven't had one since I've been back on these pills (only 2 weeks, but I think that's the reason). Loestrin did excellent for me a few years ago when I was taking it, which is why I went back to it. It's the only pill that makes me fell "normal". You need to consider that everyone is different when taking BC pills though.
