Started with anxiety and insomnia, one week later I developed stomach and bowel issues. Indigestion, constant belching, acid reflux, nausea, racing heart, dizziness, leg weakness, flushing, very painful back pain, no appetite, weight loss, blurred vision, depression, and non bacterial cystitis. Was healthy until the day I received that horrible injection, had pain in si joint but now my health has gone downhill fast. Doctor of course denies cortisone related, but how can all this happen so quickly after that poison was put in my body? Is all this just a coincidence? What are the chances of all these issues happening without that one thing they injected in my body? Seems fairly clear to me. It's been 3 months of a total nightmare, which isn't ending. Cannot work, and am bed ridden for the most part. | Why are we not told about possible side effects? Oh, and lets not forget to mention that I've had a staph infection for nearly 3 years now. Its on again off again but it can't be good for my immune system or quality of life in general to be on different antibiotics or steroids every few months. | I can't honestly say if my side effects are from the Kenalog shot itself or from my antibiotics....or if I'm just dying from continued illness caused by stress along with the seasonal allergies I was born with. KENALOG-40 (TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE): This medication is used in a variety of conditions such as allergic disorders, arthritis, blood diseases, breathing problems, certain cancers, eye diseases, intestinal disorders, collagen and skin diseases. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of triamcinolone, especially if it is to be injected near your spine (epidural). Rare but serious side effects may occur with epidural use. Triamcinolone acetonide is known as a corticosteroid hormone (glucocorticoid). It works by decreasing your body's immune response to these diseases and reduces symptoms such as swelling.
