Texture and color of eyebrow and body hair is different and patchy. Despite initial weight loss, my weight has been uncontrollably increasing even though my intake is low. This has changed my body and appearance entirely. Within weeks, I began to profusely lose my hair; to date, I've lost 60-70% - with no end in sight. Manufacturer (Bristol Meyer Squibb / BMS) informed me that they DO NOT know if my adverse effect will be temporary or permanent. My orthopedist stated having no knowledge hair loss was a potential risk. BMS's labeling is a four page (fine print) document, noting hundred(s) of warnings and hundred(s) more adverse effects categorized by body systems. BMS does not use any severity scale to differentiate: common, uncommon, rare, potentially fatal effects. Nor do they use key symbols: highlight, bold, underline, red lettering, capitalization, asterisk, etc to sufficiently warn physicians of risk factors. BMS essentially designates equal value to all of their hundred(s) of potential reactions.
