I thought it was due to my upcoming surgery for gallbladder removal. But this feeling was off the charts. I felt depressed and weepy and could not understand why, or explain it. So I took the pill version, twice a day. It wasn't so bad the first time. Well, I felt like I had a fever and the worst cramps ever, and I was exhausted, but it was bearable and fine. A month or so later I got a yeast infection and found out I still have BV. Yeast infection medicine is a breeze. This time with the pill, I had really bad heart palpitations and a headache. One day, a weird paid in my arm. I felt like I couldn't eat anything. Everything has propolyen glycol in it and your supposed to avoid that along with alcohol. This time taking the pill was scary and I'm not sure I will do that again. I also still think I have BV. Can it just go away already? | It worked better than the gel, but the side effects are extreme. Dizziness walking, extreme headache that never goes away and blurred vision. Stopped taking the drug. Both the dentist and my doctor say they have never seen these side effects...? I'm certain it's as a result of this. Total was 2500mg a day. I had nausea, insomnia, metallic taste, nausea, brain fog, I had a rash on my face that now has lasted 7 months, I get flare ups, the rash will not go away. I have been to my primary doctor and dermatologist four times each. Topical creams of different kinds has not help, blister like rash and it's bad. When I get flare ups I get a grapefruit metallic taste in mouth. Worse drug ever have taken. Felt like I was dying. Only took for 4 to 5 days.Metrodiaznol and a drug called Ciprofloxacin should be taken off the market. Lost 6lbs. The rash will not go away. | Metrodiazenole is a horrible drug and I still have side affects after 7 months and only taking for 4 days.
