The anxiety was much worse , I was once again sure I was going to die my tongue is already yellow after 3 days so I was sure it was going to swell up. But actually, Flagyl can cause lesions to form on the brain, specifically the cerebellum (and they can also appear on the basal ganglia, midbrain, and even the brain stem). Symptoms from this include everything from difficulty walking/slurred speech, to severe anxiety, depression, disorientation, brain fog, head pressure/neck pain, and mental confusion. These symptoms disappear quickly for some, and linger for others. I wanted to point this out because Flagyl is certainly capable of causing neurological and psychiatric effects all by itself (although I agree, Cipro, Levaquin and Avelox are HORRIBLE drugs as well). | F | 34 | 1X day | 12/9/2016 | 3 | Diverticulitis | Vaginal burning from Flagyl.
