I take 50-100 mg as needed. | This is one of the only psychotrophic drugs I've taken that I considered a safe drug. Vistaril is very mild but fairly effective. It's also good for allergies and itching. Also will relieve nausea if you're experiencing it. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has anxiety/panic. VISTARIL (HYDROXYZINE HYDROCHLORIDE): Hydroxyzine is used to treat itching caused by allergies. It is an antihistamine and works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergic reaction.
