| 4 | PSA | fatigue, mild common cold like symptoms | I took my 2nd injection on Wednesday. It seems like it has instantly helped my scalp rash. My low back pain has started to get better. However, I am SO tired. I could sleep all day if someone let me. I'm hoping this wears off as it is only my 2nd injection but time will tell. I also have a bit of a cough and some cold like symptoms. They aren't bad, the fatigue is the worst part. I have taken Plaquenil, Methotrexate, Sulfasalazine and maybe some others and so far this is the only one that I have not yet had something worse happen like increased rash, vomiting, hair loss, etc. I'm willing to give this some more time. | F | 36 | 2 weeks 1X W | 8/25/2018 | 4 | RA | I have a severe rash on my body. VERY pleased with Enbrel - gave me my life back. Not sure why, may have been linked to hormone changes brought on by menopause, (?) but I began to have pain, stiffness and swelling in my finger/hand/wrist, along with pain in feet, stiffness upon waking all over, back and neck pain. I started losing hair but didn't put 2 and 2 together until I had lost a great deal of hair. I did not want to stop taking enbrel because I felt so much better! My joints were 85% better. I just kept losing more and more hair. I made the decision to stop enbrel. It has been 1 week without it and I am in severe pain again. My sinuses have cleared, the gurgling is almost gone. I'm still losing hair but praying that will stop soon. I'm very tempted to start taking enbrel again. My RA numbers are elevated, and I do not have skin flairs. My doctor told me that psoriatic arthritis may also show high RA numbers. If it is psoriatic, I will probably develop skin flairs in the future. I have been in pain for years and just started enbrel. The first few weeks on enbrel, I didn't have many side effects other than mild stomach pain and night sweats, but I was not sure if it was enbrel related. Enbrel worked great for the pain and I felt like I had more joint movement. I'm now going into my 5th week, but am having sinus problems and starting to get nose bleeds, so I will be stopping it for a while.
